This is what I do best. I enjoy the little things. I love and appreciate cozy fires, a good book, watching hummingbirds and butterflies in my garden, decorating for Christmas, and a nice, hot cup of coffee every morning.

I am a retired teacher of twenty years. My life is currently a work in progress… I am working with my sister to run an antiques and collectibles business. We have an Etsy shop and also rent a booth in a local antique mall. I run a website for our business. We would like to begin an estate sale business in the near future, as well.

I am a wife and mother of two grown boys. I also have a beautiful daughter-in-law. My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I have one sister, who you will read about a lot, as she is also my best friend!

I am a very proud Texan. My hobbies include gardening, cooking and baking, antiquing, crafting, traveling, watching sports (mostly baseball and football), and spending time with my family. My newest hobby is blogging, and I really love it. I have been writing another blog for our antiques business for a few months now, and I love it!
